Nextel goes Broadband

Nextel Communications is finally making its entry into the broadband WAN waters, according to a posting on SlashDot. Trials to begin soon in North Carolina. The company trails behind AT&T, Sprint and Verizon in wireless WAN efforts, but is making up with a service that could bring download speeds of upto 3 megabits per second to your laptop.
