The Denver Post reports that Qwest chief executive Richard Notebaert supports FCC’s position against regulation of voice communications over the Internet. He also confirmed that the company “will launch its VoIP service Monday in Minnesota. The company said it hopes to offer the service in other states by the first or second quarter of next year.”
Notebaert’s support is justified. He among all the bells has the best infrastructure to offer VOIP services and wants to leverage that to pick up incremental business for his struggling baby bell.
voice service is really necessary for all of us. It’s very convenient and it helps to save some money :))
