South Korean Broadband Shakeout?

Citibank and Dacom are looking to make a joint bid for South Korean broadband provider, Thrunet, which has been under bankruptcy protection since March 2003. Analysts predict that South Korea is about to see a broadband shakeout, mostly because of a slowdown in the growth. Nearly 25% of Koreans have high speed connections. Hanaro Telecom is also bidding for the bankrupt company
