  1. It’s actually $2-$5/month more than dial-up with the equivalent bundle. As best as I can tell from the SBC website, SBC Yahoo Dial with SBC Connections (local/LD/internet bundle) is $12.95; SBC Yahoo Dial with SBC Total Connections (local/LD/internet/wireless bundle) is $9.95.

  2. Dialup will be around for a looooong time. There are an amazing number of people who do not have the option of choosing DSL.
