A little while ago I wrote about a tiny fixed wireless company called TowerStream and how they were succeeding in a business where several others had failed. The company sent me an update this morning: it has turned on its new Point-of-Presence (POP) on top of the MetLife Building located between 44th and 45th Streets on Park Avenue. It has 80 customers in the Big Apple. Service options include T1, T3, and 100 Mbps connections.
