A long time ago, I wrote about a company called IPVerse, which was an early player in the softswitch market. The telecom bust killed the company, but it was reborn again as Nextverse and then merged with a division of Israeli telecom giant, ECI Telecom. The combined company became Veraz Networks. Somehow it hung in, and now it is starting to reap the rewards of perseverance. It has a solid year of growth in 2004, and the trends seem to be positive for them. Veraz VoIP solutions are carrying over 1 billion minutes of traffic per month. So what kind of growth in sales? Well, they don’t mention that… hoping that folks would simply take their word for it.
