Confirming what many have suspected, a HP Labs study finds that the most popular bloggers aren’t the most original. But they do have a knack for swiping material from other, lesser-known blogs. Amit Asaravala reports for Wired News but manages to leave out how one of his colleagues is swiping ideas from the Blogsphere, and has made a career out of doing this. Reporters, apparently are always original.

I notice getting swiped at MobileTracker a lot. I half think I’m just paranoid, but it gets annoying. Constantly seeing site XYZ posting the same story 2-4 hours after me. Never a link.
Gizmodo was great at this after I said some thing about Nick Denton…
You should see how often breaking insider broadband news, speed and pricing changes are swiped from our forums without a reference…..
