Folks over at Light Reading conducted a poll on what will Cisco nibble on from the massive buffet of start-ups. Nearly 17% think that storage would be the key focus, while another 13% believe that Cisco could go out and buy some VoIP related company – a session border controller maker like Acme Packet or an IP Centrex company such as Sylantro or Broadsoft. Of course you can’t take it all seriously because 18% of polled believe in Santa Claus, a tooth fairy and Cisco making a surprise bid for MCI.
