  1. I’ve started playing around with Zoto, and it might be a great thing a little late.. flickr seems to have so much more momentum, it may be challenging for Zoto to carve out enough its lion’s share.

  2. error 🙁

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: xmlrpc_encode_request() in /home/np000043/public_html/modules/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/zoto_chooser-1.0.2/zoto_xmlrpc.inc.php on line 62

  3. ToNo, you may have the wrong XML parser installed. We are porting the plugin to PEAR, and should have it out soon. There is a user in our forums that has already done this, so you could probably get it from his site.

You might also try using this link, instead of the one in the article:

    http://www.zoto.com/downloads/zoto_chooser-1.0.2.zip

That port of the chooser still uses the older XML library though, so it may still break for you.

Regarding the other comment from djchuang, I’m wondering if you knew that Webshots has over 3 million users? That’s a lion’s share more than Flickr has!

My point is that this market is HUGE and we are doing a couple of things that make us unique. We have just as much opportunity as the next guy – now that Flickr is owned by Yahoo, it’s unlikely they’ll continue to innovate as much as they have in the past.

That gives the rest of us a fighting chance, at the very least.

    Cheers!

  4. Hi,

I have installed the zoto plugin but when I publish the images, only the image name shows up in the blog, not the image.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Andrew
