I met with Nokia’s outgoing Chairman and CEO Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo earlier this year and found him to be an affable man, who was extremely gracious despite me being extremely critical of his company and himself. He is being replaced by Stephen Elop, who I have also spent some time as part of my reporting duties for GigaOM. Nokia’s future is very uncertain and it remains to be seen how they do in the coming years. I wish OPK good luck and godspeed!
