True Ventures is hosting the True University (at the UC Berkeley) for founders and executives of the True portfolio companies. It is part of True’s effort to not just focus on the founders but also help foster talent inside the portfolio companies and make them part of the True family.

There is a lot of speakers including some you might have heard of — Alexander Osterwalder, Steve Blank, Vivek Wadhwa and none other than Dan Ariely. My partner at GigaOM, Paul Walborsky who is the man helping my dream come true is going to be imparting some wisdom. He is my guru on business matters and now the rest will understand why.

For me, it is like going to school and I am so excited to be going. That said, I am going to be teaching a class. I am focusing on the big picture and why this just might be the most exciting time to work in technology — bubble or no bubble.
