My buddy (and WordPress founder/creator) Matt Mullenweg ( aka@photomatt on Twitter) has launched Jazz Quotes – a site dedicated to awesome quotes from jazz-y types. The title of the biography of Enrico Rava is a great quote itself: “Note necessarie” (means “Necessary notes”, of course). Rava says it’s a thing that Joao Gilberto told him: “You don’t need to play all that notes. Play only the notes that are necessary”. Ain’t this beautiful? 🙂
