Come on founders, get to work

Someone had to say it. I have always said, building a business is a lot harder than starting most people think.

“I’m worried that in all the hype, in all the “we launched our company” events, and “we changed our name again” parties, and “we redid our website – come celebrate!” shindigs, and the SXSW parties, and the hoodies, and everyone who is “killing it!”, that we’re losing sight a bit of the really hard work that is creating and building a business.”

  1. Ah.. tell a start-up it IS BIG TIME HARD WORK! And you may expect quick results they don’t happen that fast or anywhere near ‘fast’! It’s hard work but the one message I have gotten through keeping the head up in a start-up – You have to be out there in the field WITH your customers to really get something good evolve from what you do.
That’s the one and only way to get it done the RIGHT way! It’s called SMART HARD WORK.

No changing name, t-shirts, or flashy website can get you there…
