This is from a press release that was emailed to us. I wouldn’t want to give them any attention and a link, but this is just incredible….
….the San Francisco / Bay Area Metropolitan area is Number 1 on the list of cities with the most Sugar Daddies, although they are not the most generous (ranked #29 on generosity). In the San Francisco / Bay Area Metropolitan area, approximately 3.51 out of every 1000 adult men are Sugar Daddies. A typical SF / Bay Area sugar daddy has an average income of $249,926, is worth about $5.7 million, and spends approximately $3,765 a month on his sugar addiction. Approximately 41.6% of them are married.
These kind of press releases makes me sad about where “technology” is headed.
i can see one beautiful infographic from this data. not.
I have the research report if you want Arno
Not everyone should have a desk job!
Don’t be sad Om. From where I sit it looks like technology is basically exposing these reporters for what they are by providing them the tools to do the ridiculous research they are doing. I prefer to know who to avoid.
Some lucky intern had a hay day finding all that research.
“Approximately 41.6% of them are married.”
I have to believe this company is set on increasing that number?
Lol. Agreed on that Cory. That is precisely what they are doing.
What were they selling, the folks who wrote the release?
I mean, it’s common to cite a bunch of statistics as a prelude to a pitch. These are just weirder than most.
They are selling a match making service Roger
I’m looking forward to the story about the attorney who obtains a warrant to search their database after a sugar daddy’s wife sues for alienation of affections.
I am so glad you point this out!.. In most of the recent conferences I have attended, I see some entrepreneurs of hot startups showing up as sugar daddies with 1-2 women at hand.. Sad!
