At lunch with two friends I had not seen for a long time, something came up that I thought was worth sharing, especially with those of us who live in the hot house called Silicon Valley. One of them works in the Washington DC area, to give you a bit of context…
… You guys out there don’t spend all your times making weapons of war. Instead you spend time on making things that are useful, productive, fun and entertaining.
Well, some games are actually weapons on war on productivity and there are tools of eroding privacy, but otherwise I suppose that is an astute observation from someone with no overlap with tech-world.
It’s all smoke an mirrors. I find it very entertaining seeing that people in the valley call a company with millions in funding and no revenue or profits a bootstrapped start up.
@MKRK – I’ve never heard anyone call a funded company “bootstrapped”.
