I recently stumbled upon this Vienna, Austria-based brand, ZonkeyBoot. From the images (at least) they seem to make great looking shoes, though it is hard to comment about the quality of the shoe. The brand is the brainchild of husband-wife team of Alexandra Diaconu & Michael Rollig, who used to work for St. Crispin’s, another Viennese shoe maker of great provence and tradition. ZonkeyBoot is just a fantastic and fun name and the prices are more modest (relatively) compared to their former employer. Too bad they are not on sale in the US. Here is one design of theirs that I will totally love to wear this coming spring, but alas they don’t have it in my size.
The Euro last doesn’t match American [Indian?] feet well. Why there is a separate American last.
