I ended up installing Mavericks, the upcoming version of Apple’s operating system and newest version of OS-X on my Macbook Pro (with Retina Display.) There are a lot of awesome improvements in the OS, but there are three major issues that have plagued my computer since experimenting with the beta software: MacBook atleast twice a day loses WiFi connectivity, I can’t seem to make Google Calendar work with the new Calendar app and Pro’s battery seems to be taking a nap every so often. It lasts for barely 100 minutes. I hope Apple offers fixes for these issues soon, or I might have to put an end to this trial. Update: Friday, July 26: The newest update has resolved one of the three issues — I am not losing WiFi connectivity any more.

That’s the problem with beta testing – unless you have a spare device.
Yeah unfortunately it is a problem now — hoping to move my data off the machine and go back to the old OS.
