“If you observe a really happy man you will find him building a boat, writing a symphony, educating his son, growing double dahlias in his garden or looking for dinosaur eggs in the Gobi desert. He will not be searching for happiness as if it were a collar button that has rolled under the radiator. He will not be striving for it as a goal in itself. He will have become aware that he is happy in the course of living life twenty-four crowded hours of the day.” — W. Beran Wolfe, Austrian psychiatrist and author

Happiness is like an orgasm, if you think about it too much you’ll never get to it.
🙂
Learned much the same from Stirling Moss’s autobiography BITD. With the added temporal understanding that in this day and age, any day might be your last.
Enjoy it while you can.

I need to go buy that autobiography like right now.
. Happiness is not the what, the when , the where,..its inside its inside its inside.. That was my mantra through a time of turmoil. That is my mantra today.
More so, Joy is discovered within… Happiness is fleeting. Happy is a word I use to describe one uplifting moment. Joy, when found , stays with a person moment after moment after moment……… forever on.
