The wireless and broadband revolution is finally spreading to the final frontiers of our planet. India, China, Brazil, Russia and the African continent have become major drivers of growth of the telecom networks. Across the planet people are signing up for either mobile services, landlines or broadband connections. And we are not done yet. According to new research by Telegeography, there will be 2.5 billion new subscribers across the planet between now and 2013. The firm also predicts that:

The best telecom companies in this pace (IMHO) are: China Mobile (CHL), Telefonica (TEF), Indonesia Telekom (TLK), Turkcell (TKC) Vimpel (VIP) Telenor (TELNY.PK), Tele Norte – Brazil (TNE) and Hutchison (HTX).
