Well, if you had a big enough antenna you would be in violation of FCC guidelines for emissions. Hell, you might even be exceeding maximum permissible exposure guidelines and be open to a nice civil suit by any roommates. That said, one Pringles can is not going to do it.
By the way, the UK and EU have some very strange regulations about power levels of unlicensed frequencies. This is one area where the US is actually relatively progressive.
