Looks like Apple is going to do some sort of a connected multimedia device, though no one knows whether it will be a video iPod or something more exotic. The person making the argument, a hack-pack homie Tom Foremski has found out that British chip company Alphamosaic (a division of Broadcom), in Cambridge, UK, will be one of key chip providers for some Apple multimedia mobile device. The chip which can do video processing and all sorts of other cool stuff is perfect something Apple might have planned, Tom says in smart bit of deduction. Some, think this is not much of a scoop!
