  1. If the problem truly affects those Facebook users who signed up after June AND use iPhone Facebook app or Facebook Connect-using app, then the number of users affected is far, far less than 25 million.

    Even if the iPhone / iPod Touch installed base is 25M, not all of them would have used / downloaded the Facebook app, and surely not all are likely to have signed up after June.

    Am I missing something?

  3. guess i am affected – i downloaded the facebook iphone app and it seemed to work then crashed, after that i couldn’t open it again, just deleted. my fb account is new this month.

    1. I downloaded yesterday new version of fb app for my iphone. same like anon said, but my fb account is valid since months! i will use fb via the web now on my fb

    1. I’ve had the same problem. I can’t post or comment. I can stay up to date, just can’t interact in any manner. Would love to know the fix to this.

  4. My facebook app doesn’t notify me if someone has commented on my status/wall conversation
    it only notifies me if someone likes my status. Not by email I mean the notification bit at bottom any help??
