By now you know I am a bit of a baseball nut. I mark off the days between the end of World Series and spring training on an old fashion calendar. And I am hopelessly addicted to SBNation and MLB Rumors. And yes, I have read MoneyBall about a dozen times, and I cannot wait to see the movie that hits the theaters today.
Now for the good news! You can join us at the premier of Moneyball, featuring Brad Pitt, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Jonah Hill, today, Friday, Sept. 23, at the Sundance Kabuki theater on Fillmore Street in San Francisco. There are 30 tickets reserved for GigaOM readers at $10 each. You show up, you get your money back. But only if you show up. Pre-party will begin at 8 p.m. at Bun Mee on Fillmore for anyone who wants to get in the spirit of the game. The movie starts around 10:00 p.m.
I think it is a great way to get over the f8 madness and of course the drama at Hewlett-Packard.
I have to say, out of all the publications I read about Technology, y’all are by far the coolest. Not only does GigaOm produce excellent content, you also are young and hip in your approach. Super cool thumbs up!

Wow, cool! Wish I saw this earlier. I definitely would’ve made the 1 hour drive to meet up with folks!
