With Mobilize 08 a fading speck in the rearview mirror, we are all gearing up for the second edition of NewTeeVee Live, our conference around online video that will be held on Nov. 13th in San Francisco. Our event last year sold out, so we decided to have an encore. By bringing the same editorial focus to which NewTeeVee readers are accustomed — along with appearances from online video’s biggest names — we hope that the 2008 edition will be even more informative and fun.
This year’s NewTeeVee Live will feature keynotes from Netflix CEO Reed Hastings and Hulu CEO Jason Kilar, as well as the first public appearance by “Fred,” aka 14-year-old Lucas Cruikshank, aka the biggest thing on YouTube. You can keep track of our growing number of speakers here. Liz has outlined some of the topics we are going to explore at the conference on NewTeeVee.com. We will be adding more speakers over the next few months.
