Disney Mobile, a MVNO, which has been in business for a year, says nearly 30% of its subscribers use GPS location-tracking services once every other day, and about 70% come from the handset. 56 percent of Disney Mobile subscribers are adults … I like that… who wouldn’t want a Goofyphone. Anyway they plan to sell 3G handsets in a year.
FUnny – I posted tdoay on how my kid hates GPS!
More funny- I started http://www.gpsmykid.com about a month ago and am markteing on less than a shoe string budget. I am waiting for the train load of clicks to roll through my blog. But honestly the blog i’m using doesn’t show me a way to add monetizing links, duh. Will have to switch gears and go fishing for the GPS wanting parents. Appreciate any tips.
I wonder, kids being more tech savy then their parents, what kind of services will come about that thwart these type of services. GPS is a double edge sword, it can help parents but it can also stop a little bit fun we are having on the side. (I cannot imagine my wife tracking me all over)

Who is involved in the supply chain here of the GPS service? components, etc…. SIRF? Garmin?
