Thanks to Apple’s Dashboard, most Mac users have little or no need for widgets from say a Google or Microsoft. Of course, they don’t work on a Mac. Washington DC-based start-up, Mesa Dynamics has just release a new product called Amnesty Hypercube which allows you to add web widgets to your Dashboard. I installed the product, but I have to admit, after Dashboard widgets, everything kinda looks plain and boring. Anyway that’s no reflection on Mesa’s offering. Check it out!

Which widgets do you keep on your dashboard, Om?
I’ve finally started using the dashboard after realising it might be a real GTD tool if I was to hotkey it to a button on my mouse. I’ve never liked the F keys.
i use three – the stock quotes widget, the baseball scores widget and the gmail widget. that’s the extent of dashboard widget use.
Oh dear, I just found the Facebook notification widget for OS X. So much for GTD;
