In the latest episode of The GigaOM Show, we chat with Craig Newmark, founder of Craigslist, and ask him if he has an exit plan or other new ventures in development? Craig began his online enterprise with a simple arts and technology event email list that went on to spawn Craigslist, in 1995. With its online classified success, most of the acknowledgment now resides on Jim Buckmaster, CEO & programmer of Craigslist. His next big idea? You have to watch the show to find out.
You can download the show in HD, QuickTime, Windows Media or Xvid formats.
Oh, Om…
You are definitely one of the people I would think would have no trouble seeing right through Craig’s BS (you know lack of resources is NOT one of craigslist’s problems… and pretty much everything he says is on shaky ground). So why go along with this? Why be a part of this ridiculous PR? I would have thought a lot more of you if you wouldn’t have had…

P.S. anyways, take care! D.
Good interview. I like Craig for his vision and what he has done in disrupting the media market. That said, his view is of a Socialist. He just doesn’t want to make any money. But, that’s his decision.
btw- Om, I noticed you went from blue jeans to black pants – just like Superman:)
btw2- the video cut out on me four times. Maybe my connection, but, doubtful.
This guy is so full of BS it makes me sick. But he has a god website.
