Waiting for Vodafone to call
Vodafone’s board is weighing up whether to enter the race to buy AT&T Wireless ahead of this week’s deadline and is mulling a $37 billion bid, according to BBC News. I just hope AT&T board is not waiting for the phone call on their own network, for otherwise Vodafone CEO Arun Sarin might not be able to get through.
Is it wrong for me (an AT&T customer) to be rooting for Cingular to buy them out? I invision a massive AT&T/Cingular network where I could roam free without ever dropping a call.
