Web 2.0 conference attendees have not even started landing and the news of deals is coming thick and strong. Today Newsgator confirmed it was buying Ranchero, the makers of Net News Wire. Yahoo has acquired Upcoming.org, an event site started by Andy Baio, and is continuing its big makeover. No financial terms were disclosed. I wonder what it does to the valuation of EVDB, and how many clones should we expect in the wake of this deal.
