This past week we had a lot of polls online, and our readers participated wholeheartedly. I wanted to take a moment and say thank you to all of those who have participated, and bring you some highlights.
- Even though 35% found Zune’s features yummy, 53% are sticking to their iPods. Only 12% think that too many features are a turnoff. [poll]
- Nearly 45% of our readers say they have no plans of buying new iPods, while 34% are split between the new, shiny Shuffle and iPod Nano. 21% would go for the new 5.5G video iPod. [poll]
- 41% of those who voted correctly predicted launch of iTunes movie downloads, while another 20% were spot on about new iPods. And 8% wished Jobs buys Sun, and bring the story full circle. [poll]
- Desktop apps are not dead, say 15%, but nearly 64% of those who voted want both – Web and desktop applications. 19% of those who voted are going all web apps all the time. [poll]
Remember if you did not vote, you still can, and have your say as well. Have poll suggestions? Drop me a line!
