Nick Bilton’s column today about his first year in Silicon Valley is a reminder that the San Francisco Bay Area since the 1990s has essentially been two towns. The two towns are as different as chalk and cheese. One dominates the headlines. Other just simply invents the future. It has always been the case. And as Bilton says at the end of his column – I like to focus on the one that is building the future.

That’s why I read you regularly while largely ignoring the NYT. One talks about the sensational, the other finds the next sensation. Your journalism and focus are refreshing. Thank you.
Actually if you read the NYT they too are making a similar point though as well. I appreciate your vote of confidence and thanks for continued support.
