Blake Krikorian, co-founder of SlingMedia, the company that brought place-shifting video to the masses, has agreed to be a speaker at our NewTeeVee Live conference that will be held on Nov. 13. Sling Media was acquired by EchoStar for $380 million last year.
Krikorian will join me in a fireside chat and we will discuss the new digital living room and the importance of online video in that environment. I have written extensively about the concept of place-shifting, so hopefully I can get him to talk about what comes next. I have some ideas of my own, of course, but it is always great to hear what he thinks. Check out Krikorian on The GigaOM Show.
If you’ve taken a beating in the markets this month, take advantage of our Early Bird Special, making a one-day comeback to celebrate the finalized speaker lineup. Get it until midnight tomorrow (Oct. 23).
